Public Health
Ealing CVS is working in partnership with Ealing Council, Ealing Volunteer Centre and local area hubs, to improve public health across the borough.
Ealing CVS work with Ealing Public Health team, Ealing Volunteer Centre and local area hubs to promote public health in Ealing.
We specifically work with local voluntary and community groups to deliver health messages and information that can be shared with their service users, staff, volunteers and wider public on health issues, and offer support for healthy living.
Could you help improve health and wellbeing for your staff, volunteers and service users?
As part of this work we:
- Provide regular information to the voluntary and community sector (VCS) on health issues
- Produce a regular Health eBulletin
- Train Community Health Champions
- Developed a Healthy Workplace toolkit for voluntary and community groups
- Run programmes of volunteering specifically for people with long term health conditions
- Support the development of local sports groups
