Antony has worked for ECVS since 2002. He previously worked as a regional manager for Sense, the Deafblind and Rubella Charity; he also worked in agencies such as Dalston City Partnership and City, Inner London North Training and Enterprise Council and managed musical equipment stores.

His postgraduate degree is an MSc in Voluntary and Community Sector Studies, which included writing a dissertation on the role of CVS-type organisations, their role, issues of authority and so on.
