One of the most innovative projects developed as part of Neighbourhood Renewal in Ealing is the Neighbourhood Improvement Fund (NIF).

The Neighbourhood Renewal Standing Committee has appointed Ealing CVS to coordinate the NIF programme in Ealing.

The NIF programme covers the following 4 estates in Ealing- South Acton, Golflinks, Windmill Park and Havelock/Toplock.

The residents of the four Neighbourhood Renewal benefitting estates have been allocated Neighbourhood Improvement Fund each year to develop for themselves projects to improve services, promote community involvement and regeneration. Each of the estates has established a residents led panel

What does the NIF Panel do ?
These panels meet every few months to :

  • Agree priorities for NIF funding on the estates
  • Discuss potential proposals

  • Agree organisations to deliver the projects
  • Receive monitoring reports on completed serivce improvements

What can NIF be used for ?
