
Safe Recruitment
Ealing has recently launched Safe Recruitment Guidance for those responsible for recruiting staff who work with Children and Young people.
This Guidance emphasises the importance of ensuring that there is a structured process in place for recruiting both paid and non paid workers including appropriate checks being made on an individual BEFORE they start working (CRB check, reference checks etc).
This guidance also contains helpful documents which groups can use as they want including templates (application form, reference request etc) and checklists.
