Ealing Children & Young People's (CYP) Forum

The Ealing CYP Forum is for groups that work with Children and Young People in the Private and Third Sector (voluntary, community and faith groups). This forum is facilitated by the Ealing Community Network and the work of the forum is supported and taken forward by the ECN Coordinator and Workforce Development Officer.

Aims of the Forum

To meet termly to update /discuss local children and youth issues
To enable all private and third sector (PaTS) organisations working with children and young people to participate in planning, policy and development of services to children and young people in the Borough of Ealing.
To provide a forum for PaTS organisations to exchange information and discuss issues affecting all groups.
To share information, ideas and good practice.
To enable PaTS organisations to feedback information to other groups.
To raise awareness about the key role of the PaTS in implementing the Every Child Matters agenda

Those who attend these forums have reported that the issues discussed are valuable as they had the potential to further develop their organisations. Groups also appreciate the forum because it helps them to network and make valuable contacts. They also have the opportunity to raise issues of concern and share ideas and feel less isolated in their work.
