1. Group Development Support

With our dedicated LGBT Development Worker, we are able to provide additional professional support, advice and help across all the West London boroughs.

 

We offer:

· one to one support to new start up groups as well as assisting established groups

· providing advice and support with funding

· regular news updates - ideal for advertising services and projects for LGBT people

· online directory of mainstream and voluntary services and LGBT groups

· support to organisations who want to develop LGBT engagement activities

· advice on LGBT Volunteering for organisations and individuals

· information, advice and guidance on Safeguarding issues for Children, young people and vulnerable adults

 

As part of our ChangeUp Programme we have produced a Group Development Pack containing a series of documents on a range of topics designed to help you run your organisation more effectively. These include Health & Safety, Staff Development, Volunteers, IT, Finance and Performance Improvement.

4. Funderfinder

Funderfinder is our searchable CD-ROM database of grant-making trusts

and foundations. We also have access to other databases such as

Grantnet for funding information from charitable trusts, government

grants, and lottery funding. If you wish to book a Funder Finder

session please contact your local CVS for more information.

5. Flash Funding opportunities update

FLASH is our FREE e-mail newsletter service about hot funding news. If

you want to receive FLASH email subscribeflash@ealingcvs.org.uk your

request.

6. West London Community and Voluntary Service (CVS) Contacts

There are Community and Voluntary Services in each of the seven boroughs of the project offering a wide range of services which are useful to groups in their local area. The project is developing specific LGBT initiatives with each service over the coming months to provide more opportunities for LGBT groups and residents.
